About Sharon Beth

Sharon Beth is a writer, teacher and special needs advocate who resides in Danville, California with her husband and two teenagers.
Sharon dedicated many years to the classroom, most recently serving her local community, where she was able to combine her passions for teaching and storytelling. After her DNA test revealed a sixty-year-old family secret, she decided to share her struggle in the hope of helping others who carry a similar burden. Sharon's debut memoir, Autumn Leaves, blends her love of family and life experiences with her desire to inspire and engage her readers.
Sharon is a Certified Handwriting Specialist, a 2005 college graduate with two teaching credentials as well as an active member of the San Ramon Valley Genealogical Society. She enjoys sewing, gardening, and spending time with her family.
A note on book proceeds
Every dollar my book earns goes directly to causes and people I believe in: For the World at launch, KAH Bay Area in 2025 (see my blog to read more), and this year, 2026, to my childhood best friend who is featured in this book and is currently fighting three forms of cancer.
Each year's proceeds go to a different cause. Check back to see where future donations are going.
